FAQ

What is a VDS/VPS virtual server?

VDS stands for Virtual Dedicated Server. In other words, it is a server system built on dedicated resources. This approach is more reliable and faster than other virtualization technologies. Resources such as RAM, CPU and disk are allocated from the host server within real limits: the resources assigned to you are taken out of the shared pool and are not given to anyone else. For example, if you order a server with 8 GB of RAM, those 8 GB are reserved for you even when you are not using them. In other systems, unused resources can be taken by another user, so the service gets slower for everyone.
Once a VDS / VPS order is approved, the installation is completed the same day and the server is activated.
Shared hosting servers have fixed specifications that cannot be changed. With a virtual server, you can optimize it the way you like for your specific projects and tune its parameters as you wish, organizing the server around your project rather than the other way round.
It depends entirely on the number of visitors and resource usage of your websites. Whether you have one website or dozens, with good optimization you can host websites with 5,000 to 15,000 daily visits on different plans. The less load your websites put on the server, the better they will perform at that level.
